If I told to you the secrete to how I chose photographs to  upload/post, would you hate me?

The rule is quite simple:

I upload/post a photograph I want to see forever, whenever.

that is to say, I enjoy looking at it --- and maybe with a slight hope that you will --- but sometimes, I am alone on that, ;-)
